Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT I9082 review price specs in India

The latest Samsung Phone to hit the market is Galaxy Grand Duos I9082, a dual-SIM smartphone. This new Samsung Android phone is sure to give the competitors some Goosebumps. Touted as a tough contender for Nokia Lumia 820 and HTC Desire SV, Samsung Grand comes as a high-end smartphone from a top-tier mobile maker. The phone cost INR 21,500 in India.
Though there are still some smartphones under 15K, but with crippled multimedia functions and dated spec sheet, so the market for same seems to be open for this newly launched Samsung mobile phone. We did like the Grand when it was launched and now it’s time to uncover what actually it is capable of.

 Design and Looks

It will not be wrong to call Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos a clone of Note II. Not only we, everyone is talking about it to be a perfect look-alike of Samsung Note with finishing and design similar to Samsung Galaxy S III. This new phone measures around 76.8 x 143.5 x 9.6mm in dimensions, making it quite slim, sleek and thin. Also, its 161 grams weight makes it quite light compared to other Android mobile phones in the same price segment.
Grand is a pure mix of premium plastic, which is quite sturdy and gives handset a solid feel. Further, the front display has been made using glass with no sign on Corning Gorilla Glass; that is now quite disappointment for a high-end Android phone. Its rear panel comes with mosaic-like pattern but is prone to scratches if not used carefully.
On the other hand, the thin bezel surrounds the phone, though it is also made using plastic with metal coating resemblance. The front comprises hardware home button at the bottom with a 2MP front camera at the right along with all the sensors lined up next to it. Overall, Grand is a perfect reminiscent of S III and Note II in terms of design and built.

Performance
Samsung Grand comes with dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and includes 1GB RAM. Further, it is available with Broadcom GPU, which makes this phone compatible with most of the HD games and eases the multitasking to a great extent. The handset houses 8GB internal storage and supports microSD card up to 64GB.
Its 5.0 inches capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution makes Grand talk of the town. A bit smaller to Note II, this new handset comes with highly responsive multi-touch TouchWiz UI. Also, the phone has been integrated with 8MP camera, capable of snapping high resolution and clear pictures with excellent HD video recording. Features like LED Flash, touch-focus, auto-focus and image stabilization makes Grand’s camera quite worth.
